Rand Water Learnerships is good company in the world. We see, Rand Water is one of the largest water utilities in the world today, this are located in South Africa. The company also provides on average four billion liters of potable water around per day to more than 11 -12 million people in an area that stretches over 18 000 km2 that was the approximation of the calculation this project. Even since 110 years ago, Rand Water operates a network of over 3000 km of pipelines with a worth of three billion Euros. More than that in 2012, the company launched already Rand Water Academy in a big effort to mitigate and prevent the shortage of qualified WATSAN experts in South Africa and the region.

More than that also has the establishment of a research platform that is tailor-made to suit Rand Water needs

Following the signing of this MoU for Rand Water Learnerships, that Rand Water has also committed to sponsor four full MSc fellowships in the MSc programmer in Urban Water and Sanitation (you can know that is Water Supply Engineering specialization) for this year’s academic good programmer. In addition, in particular four short courses will be organized very well and together with Tshwane University of Technology, to be held at Rand Water Academy in the autumn.

About Rand Water Learnerships are engage on the UNESCO-IHE who will actively engage in the operationalization of the big business plan and the best preparation of the facilities of the training academy in Mozambique as the one of example. In the meantime, the first concrete annual plan of activities will be developed very well.
